Massive updates folks, well lots have changed since my last upload.  Currently have learn't how to script a wave control system to control my enemies better.  And I've also created a new label to allow the player to read this information.  Due to running out of time no more gameplay is being implanted into the level.  The new goal for the player is to get to he highest rounds possible.

The diner has also gone through some changes I have added a night level to my game in which will act as a second level.  The night level also has different types of sounds to make the player believe something is different.  There's also lights placed around the sign to give off a neon glow effect as well as a stronger light  from the diner to illuminate the scene.

I'm replacing the old road with a new one and blending it slightly better with the environment.  I will also be adding a cor model next to the diner to give the diner more purpose.  I currently have one more script to write which is the wave control script and then I'm ready to hand in the main body of work.

Screen shot of the wave script I'm currently working on below is a screen shot of the gameplay being implemented.  On a side note I am also making a design document which covers the story, controls, gameplay and character types I was unfortunate on implementing into the game.

This weekend I'm making a main menu for my game, unfortunately I do not have the technology in making the main menu that I had in mind for my menu inside the diner.  This is due to scale form being a price cost plug in for unity.  Instead I've purchased a cheaper version called ngui, which allows a user to scale their own textures into unity on a 2d plane.  This fakes the illusion that it's scale-formed.  However I used my own scripts to link the menu to the scene.  I would also like to mention I used easy roads plugin to create my road in the following update the road will be more of a highway than a dirt road.

Well things have changed a heck of a lot since my last update.  There's actual;y an environment to show now! I know it's not perfect to be exactly like route 66 but it's getting there in my opinion, I have made a fully functional hud to work with my own assets in which I made for gameplay.  I have a money system that counts the cash the player earns every second and I also have a game over script which I'm currently working on.  The main level will start outside the diner where the enemies will attack from the road side.  If I have time I will make a second level outside the back of the diner to have a false illusion of progression.

My main menu will be made within the diner itself.  The menu will have the basic core functions working this weekend to start and quit the game project.  If I get time I will have an adjust volume option within the game.

The menu hud its kinda small at the moment but will be adjusted by tomorrow.  The designs for the hud are my own,.  The rest of the assets on the screen are outsources from other websites, in which I got permission to use from the respected owners.
